Back to Ohvi

Privacy

Ohvi helps you remember the birthdays and anniversaries of the people you love and make posters for them. This page explains what Ohvi keeps, in plain words. Ohvi is in a private pilot, and this notice covers the pilot. Last updated 8 November 2026.

What Ohvi keeps

What Ohvi does with it

It shows you what is coming up, makes posters and festival greetings when you ask for them (or, for birthdays and anniversaries, a few days before), and keeps your photos in a private album. Ohvi does not send anything to anyone for you. You save a poster and share it yourself, or you make a private link that expires and that you can switch off.

What Ohvi does not do

Who can see it

Only you. Your album and posters are private to your account. The people who run Ohvi can see counts (how many accounts, people and photos) but not your people, photos or notes. Ohvi runs on Cloudflare, which stores and processes the data for us in its data centres. A private poster link shows one poster to anyone who has the link until it expires; you can switch it off at any time.

How long it is kept, and removing it

You can remove things yourself at any time:

Ohvi keeps backups in case something goes wrong. A deleted item can remain in a backup for up to 30 days, after which it is gone for good. A poster you already saved or shared outside Ohvi is yours; Ohvi cannot remove copies it does not hold.

Your rights and who to ask

You can see, correct and delete your data in the app. If you want something Ohvi cannot do for you there, or you have a concern about how your data is handled, write to us through the contact page at newfangledmind.com/contact and say it is about Ohvi. We will reply, and we will act on a deletion request without delay. Newfangled Mind, Karimnagar, Telangana, India, is responsible for Ohvi.

Changes

If this notice changes in a way that matters, Ohvi will tell you in the app before it takes effect.
